Welcome to GeekItGuide.com!

Hello,

My name is Chris and I like to build things with my own two hands, I think of myself as a geek, tinkerer, do-it-yourself-er, engineer, audiophile, photography/cinematography enthusiast, UCF Alumni, husband and father.  In all honesty, I am an open slate, I love to learn new things, test out and hone my skills to the best of my ability.

This site is something I wanted to put together to showcase and blog about random projects I work on.  I tend to pick up projects and work on them piece by piece until they are done, as I have a pretty busy life. This site allows me and others follow along as I work, so everyone wins. I also wanted a place where I could do tutorials and give back to the community when and where I can.

I am a huge advocate of the open source community/culture and really feel energized when I see everyday people come up with the amazing things. I really feel the whole maker movement is awesome, now is the time for the world to collaborate and really bring innovation to a whole new level.
